The UN has declared the year 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ), recognizing 100 years since the initial development of quantum mechanics. In this context, the Department of Physics and Astrophysics has planned to celebrate the centenary of modern quantum mechanics along with the Visitor Program. This year's department visitor program will focus on the theme of Quantum Computing, Materials, and Devices to create awareness and popularize quantum technologies.
